I've noticed when i was using the stock rom (1000000% uk stock with no extras) i could get around 3/4 days battery life which includes having the bluetooth on all day connected to my helmet and sbh52 and after i installed this im getting half that xD....

i had to flash 17.1.A.2.55 then run the rootkit from doomlord and then flash your rom via recovery and then voilah xD... lets see how it goes as im just starting the process now EDIT: installed wrong version haha

what if i have never rooted before?? because ive got a locked bootloader with 100% stock rom and havent flashed any custom stuff... all i did was get the phone from vodafone and then i flashed the uk firmware (same as the one you have minus the root)

Sorry to be a pain but could you point me to the right direction on how to install this?... im used to installing ftf files but not zip so i dont know exactly what to do xD

Will this work on a Locked Bootloader??... i cant even update my damn phone via pc companion due to no usb 2.0 in my pc haha its saying i cant do it with a usb 3.0 port and so my last resort is to either wait for update via air or flash via FlashTool

I am 100000000000% sure that you can make and receive calls/texts as I own the Lte version of galaxy tab s 8.4 and it's the same as the bigger one... that side sync app is for wifi version as it has no sim support

Yeah i forgot to mention before that i tried unrooting it and then flashing it via odin whilst doing the whole wipe data and wipe cache routine which didnt work... I bought mine off ebay so the guy didnt do a good job and thats why I couldnt get it to official status... What lte device are you...

I used cf auto root and i did do full unroot but that didnt work properly as it still said custom so i went for plan b which was what i mentioned and it worked :)... I prefer flashing sony devices as they have an erase all option and makes life easier lol

That didnt work for me and neither did taking the SD card out... same with deleting cache.... so i did something else and it worked straight away.... i noticed that when i look at the system folder or the root folder... there were 3 data folders for some weird reason... data 1 data 2 data 3 and...

i have not yet experienced any wifi issues :S... im not sure what it could be unfortunately, try a full wipe flash

What do you mean? no its not yet rootable (i think from what im aware of) without unlocking the bootloader first... and no this is not with the root package added... its just the plain stock sony branded rom/firmware

i ALWAYS do a fresh install including wiping everything because then it rules out having any problems in the future... once i do a full fresh install, i just redownload the apps and transfer the videos again OR leave all the stuff on the memory card as the memory card doesnt get touched while...

do you have the diagnostics app on the tab? if not then download it from play store... its called Xperia(TM) Diagnostics by Sony Mobile Communications.... once you install that, run it and then click on Device facts and it will show you Software id.... i need everything thats in that software id...

want me to try? its always best to leave all 3 boxes checked in FlashTool and just start from scratch... atleast you wont end up with problems later on down the line... i've always followed that rule and NEVER had a single problem in my lifetime with any of these phones :)

i dont know myself... i just prefer to have a uk firmware over a CE one because i feel that CE might have stuff customised for the EU area whereas UK will only have its own unbranded stuff... thats just my guess lol... the other thing is because im from london, it makes sense to have a uk...

ahhh damn lol... i tried looking but nobody has the EXACT same one i need... i eventually managed to customize my cda to the uk by rooting it via the older firmware first and then did an upgrade which i then used to make an FTF... so both my Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Tablet Z are running on UK...

Your Tablet Z... Is it LTE SGP321 or WiFi?? If its SGP321 then i would really be greatful if you could provide me with an ftf :D... i've got a uk o2 branded one which i obviously dont want xD hence why i need an unbranded uk firmware and not singapore or any other country for that matter :p

Rooted fine with Vroot.. im on .510 using the .build prop update method.. now just need to somehow get rid of the chinese nonsense xD EDIT: Finally got rid of the vroot su :) now running .510 rooted flawlessly in little to none effort :D i still prefer the nova launcher over the xperia launcher...

niceeeee!... rooted .475 via vroot... then changed the .build prop as mentioned and then updated it via pc companion (took 10 seconds to download and around 2/3 mins to install)... now on .510 yeaaahhh buddy :D thank you for the advice "kkkok8051"
