Hi, got a N8020 from a colleage which does not boot anymore. Tried to enter recovery but failed. Tried to enter ODIN Mode which was working. Then i've doenloaded Odin and a fitting Firmware for it, tried to flash but failed with this error "There is no PIT Partition" Tried to download and flash...

Thanks for making this clear. Does that also mean that EUR-XX OTA's will not be received by this device as it stays on provider build?

Hi folks! i own a LG G2 from T-Mobile Germany. I tried this de-branding method with the europe open D80210a kdz file. After flashing and hard reset, the software build version is displayed as D80210a-262-01, but i think it should be D80210a-EUR-XX? Does this meam that there is no possibility...

I know all of this and my bootloader is already unlocked. but it's just simple: i don't want to.

Not with stock recovery :p i'm a pure stock android user after i flashed almost everything onto my HTC Desire.

I will loose root and i dont want to? Or can root be restored via rootkeeper?

My girlfriend got it two days ago in germany. No framework trick. Now I desperately smashing that check button to get the OTA. I know that I could use adb sideload, but this time i am a little bit lazy :D

This How-To won't work anymore as it seems motorola stopped ics ota notification for that build number. Try flashing to ICS directly using MZ616 ICS flash file from kent's developer page!

Havn't received it yet :( Maybe kent manages to get the ota as download :)

The Guide is actually only for the MZ616, because kent managed to get a fastboot file for it. As soon as there are more fastboot files available and ONLY! if something is available for your device, you may use this guide to flash yours as the only difference will be the flash file itself.

If your particularly stock image fastboot firmware will be available, yes, then you're able to flash back to stock. If flashing fails, your Xoom will only boot to bootloader = softbrick. But if stock image available, you can fix this as well. Thats great news! I'll update your firmware version...

Not sure if this works for your model. You do have an 616, thats right, but it seems that Motorola has signature checks that prevent flashing into different regions. e.g. have tried to flash US Image onto UK Xoom 2, Motoboot succeeded, but everything else failed with Preflash Validation...

Anybody already downloaded 1.6.0M-281.8-PASTEM_UCATBLT1UMRTCOREEU fastboot File? I tried two times and once the download failed, the other time the zip file was corrupt :( Anybody with a mirror link as i'm not able to download anymore for today.

Same with RSD Lite, motoboot.img sucessfully flashed, 1st reboot, boot.img fails with Preflash Validation Failure.

So i assume there is some kind of signature check prior to flashing. I have a MZ615 UK and the only file i was able to flash was the motoboot.img. but every file after that gave me a Preflash Validation Failure :(

How and which file did you flashed? Via Fastboot or via RSD Lite?

I've downloaded MZ615_1.6.0_278_1FF.xml Firmware. How do i flash this now on my MZ615? I tried via Fastboot to flash file after file it but i get a Preflash Validation Failure. :( So what to do now? Now it wont boot, only Bootloader.

Something went terribly wrong :( Did a Factory Reset, but after, i'm not able to connect to my WIFI Network. Stuck in Obtaining IP Address. If i set to static, WIFI works instantly. Changing back to DHCP results in Obtaining IP Address Loop. Root is also gone, trying to root again it says...

Have you tried Power + Vol Down for at least 12 seconds? For a reset, you have to held it pressed for 12 seconds.

Motorola replied, but sad news: The 0.281.4 update is ONLY being rolled out for german Vodafone Tablets :confused:

I contacted Motorola Support to find out when the 0.281.4 Update will be available for the Xoom 2. Support says that the Update is already available, but obviously my Xoom isn't able fo find it. That sounds very strange, as i don't know a person who already received the update.:confused:

Signal loss in Standby is not fixed for me. Just pressed Power button to wake up the phone and saw no bars and the X ... after a few seconds the bars came back. :mad:

I have flashed the official Google 4.0.4 IMM76D Factory Image an rooted it, that's all. So the only changes are: Superuser.apk in /system/app/ su binary in /system/bin/ Even if i unroot, the update fails :(

Update failed for my girlfriends Nexus and mine too!!! Both where completely stock, only root: Verbose output as follows: Finding update package... Opening update package... Verifying update package... Installing update... Verifying current system... assert failed...

Fruit Ninja doesn't work properly. Very laggy. The THD version exits with a error msg right at the start "No Tegra CPU found" ...

Using this Rom (ICS 6.1.1) and Samsung Mobile Print, the App FC itself after clicking on Select Printer (or Select Scanner). On my other devices (Galaxy Nexus with 4.0.2 and Xoom with 3.2) the App works very well. Any ideas what's causing the issue?

The Rom is working good, but: - it's getting really slow after a few days - response time of the ui slows down an getting slower every day Reboot doesn't help at all. Any ideas?

Is there a patch that will give the old icons for 3G and battery back? The ones included are not so pretty in my opinion.

Is there a chance to see a EU3G compatible ROM which has this one as base? Would be very nice! Or is it too complicated to hack in 3G Support for non US Devices?

I flashed latest sibere's kernel and everything is working now, we'll see if any freezes or reboots occur. I'll report any issues.

Hello Droidzone, i'm experiencing spontanious reboots and freezes using latest Supernova Rom. No matter what i'm doing, just reboots. Have run GetLogs, here you are.

I've flashed the latest R4C Version on my Xoom EU 3G + WiFi with HC3.1 All went well but as i enter Recovery i get a few Error Messages: What went wrong and how do i fix this? <edit> Sorry, my SD-Card was broken. Replaced it and all is working well!
