Yes, stick to the original. The one I ported has the new Bluetooth drivers for the OnePlus 3T, along side with the aptx/aptxHD files from the Beta 5 for the 3T. The bluetooth driver will only work on the 3/3T and breaks the other device's bluetooth driver.

Try the BIOS update first, I do not have battery drain at all. I know some people do and have said turning off fastboot would help. Just click on "All Controls" and change whatever you need to. This is from my laptop, but it should be the same for the tablet.

Well you obviously don't know how tough uni students have it... Cheap is always better for us ahaha. I do the same thing as well, but I just put my NFC smart rider on it. Hate it how it blocks the speaker, but oh wells.

Could be firewall issue, or the fact you need to restart Nvidia's streaming service in services manager. That error is most likely a firewall issue.
