Post [GUIDE][Video/Text] How to Remove Unlocked Bootloader Warning on Moto X4

Thanks, that worked to remove the bootloader unlocked warning screen! One other thing though is when the phone is first turned on while the Moto M logo is still on the screen (just before the Moto startup animation), a line of yellow console text appears over the Moto M logo that says "Verity...

    Post [Kernel][ICS] Rogue 2.0.2 "Kuma" (New 1/19/12)

Yep, you're right. CIFS was already built in and I didn't even realize it. Works great too, especially with this smooth kernel!

    Post [Kernel][ICS] Rogue 2.0.2 "Kuma" (New 1/19/12)

Thanks for this, I love this kernel! Running great here. Only thing I'm missing is CIFS support, but I don't think any of the ICS roms/kernels for the 4G Xoom support CIFS yet. Any chance CIFS support could be added to the Rogue ICS kernel? Regardless, keep up the great work!

Post Official Samsung Car Dock / Desk Dock

Mind if I ask where you purchased them from? Samsung's online store always says they're backordered. I've been looking everywhere online for another place that sells these docks ever since the phone came out, but I can't find them for purchase anywhere. Thanks in advance for any help.

Post [Q] fingerprinter reader gone AWOL?

Had the phone for about 5 days now and it's done this to me on 2 separate occasions. First time it happened was after I'd owned/used the phone for a day. Rebooting the phone a few times didn't fix it. Had to go in and disable/re-enable the fingerprint sensor security lock. Happened again for a...

    Post [ROM] Gingerbread v.20 (Stock/Trackball Wake/Gapps/DT-Ap2SD) (ThemePack v1.9) 1/11/11

I noticed that when I reboot my phone via adb, the display is fine at first. Only after having booted for a few seconds or so does the display mess up. I believe I may have found the culprit. Before trying out this ROM, I was running Cyanogenmod 6.1 and I had the screen calibration app...

    Post [ROM] Gingerbread v.20 (Stock/Trackball Wake/Gapps/DT-Ap2SD) (ThemePack v1.9) 1/11/11

Anyone else having trouble with 0.5 onward? I flashed 0.4 just fine, everything was working great. Tried to fix the white screen issue by adb pushing the specified files from the test4 zip only to find my display freaked out and displayed nothing but lots of jagged purple splotches all over the...

Post [NIGHTLY] [ROM] [GWK74] CyanogenMod 7 for vendor Passion (HTC Nexus One) - KANG

Yeah, I've been having the same issue when I try to go into Settings > CyanogenMod settings > User Interface > LED notifications. It's like it tries to load the settings (the alert dialog reads, "Loading Package List"), then com.cyanogenmod.cmparts force closes on me. At the moment I'm running...

Post [NIGHTLY] [ROM] [GWK74] CyanogenMod 7 for vendor Passion (HTC Nexus One) - KANG

Actually, there's a pretty easy way to do that. You just need to download and install the Calibration app that'll set it every time your phone boots up. I recommend using version 4.0c (that's what I've stuck with) cause lots of people have had trouble with 5.0 setting the render effect to red at...

Post [FIX] for car dock volume

New Car Home App Yeah... I know it doesn't fix all of that but the new car home app is definitely an improvement over the stock one. You can finally add shortcuts to third party apps (and I suppose you could remove the Exit button if you really wanted to :p) as well as set the car home to...

Post [FIX] for car dock volume

Just curious... Anyone know if this has been rolled into the CM6 nightlies already? If not, I wanna go ahead and use this since I use my car dock a lot, but if it's already in the latest CM6 nightlies, I don't wanna potentially overwrite newer code from TeamDouche :p

Post [IDEA][REQ] Replay Gain/Audio Normalization For Music Playback

Always glad to hear that there are others who would also be interested in a simple Replay Gain option for the stock Music app. It seems to be a common feature on portable music players these days. Certainly if apple can bundle it with their ipods, we can bundle it with our Androids. Right guys? :D

Post [IDEA][REQ] Replay Gain/Audio Normalization For Music Playback

Yeah, I definitely agree with you there and I appreciate the suggestions. Only thing is, I really don't buy CDs anymore. I don't pirate music either though. Instead, when I want a song or an album, it's just a lot more convenient to go and buy it online. I have a lot of stuff I bought from...

Thread [IDEA][REQ] Replay Gain/Audio Normalization For Music Playback

I was wondering if anyone has ever considered adding support to Android or Android's music app for replay gain. I've noticed that when playing music on my Nexus One, the volume tends to jump all over the place as I go from song to song due to individual tracks being mastered/encoded at...

Hmm, that actually might explain it for me then. I've moved almost all of my user apps to the sd card (except for widgets and apps I have ADWLauncher homescreen shortcuts for). Maybe I should experiment with moving as many as I can to internal storage to see if that speeds things up when it...

This. I know CM6 is still going through nightly testing, so I've been chalking it up to that, but if I'm not mistaken, stock 2.2 mounted and unmounted usb mass storage very quickly while the CM nightlies have been sloooow. Oh, wow, that sounds really awesome. Thanks for the suggestion! That's a shame it doesn't work with bluetooth headsets too though. For me, I noticed Shazam, Documents To Go, ShopSavvy, Libra, K-9 Mail and ES File Explorer weren't working after flashing the new nightly. There were probably other third party apps that didn't work after flashing the new nightly, but those are the ones I noticed. To be more accurate, when I say...

Just flashed the latest nightly over rc3 and it seems like now the market app is unable to connect (via wifi or 3g). Keeps saying it's unable to connect and asking if it should retry. Everything else (browser, google talk, etc.) is connecting fine, so it's not a connectivity issue. I tried...

Post [Mod] Music Mod 1.8 07/18/10 Froyo only for now

Ahh, I see. It all makes sense now. Glad to hear it's not something in my Froyo install. Wow, I love this mod so much! I've been looking everywhere for a replacement for the default Music app because I've upgraded to Froyo and don't want to have to switch back to Cyanogenmod (yet) just to get an improved music player. The only problem I've noticed (since I've been careful not to...
