I have an unlocked att quantum and had no problems getting the telstra firmware on it. It is absolutely possible.

The Telstra C900K firmware does the trick. For me at least....I'm on an ATT unlocked Quantum FYI.

i haven't had any issues with DFT either. Everything runs just as my sprint mango did, just with more features :) hopefully the hard reset works for you.....did you do HSPL?
