just got back from verizon with a new battery, works fine again... just posting as a followup. I thought it would be odd that even with a dead battery in the unit, it wouldn't power on with the wall charger attached, but with a new battery (got the extended one while I was at it) it works fine...

Mine doesn't do *anything*... no boot logo, no nothing.

not boot looping, just nothing at all. The phone won't power on. The battery ran completely out, but now, after charging it overnight, it will not power on at all. I've seen various threads saying to take the battery out for 30 min or so, try pulling the battery & SD card WHILE it's plugged...

rename the SBF file something one letter long. Flashing the SBF always failed for me unless the file was in the root of my C drive and named something short like "X.sbf" so... C:\X.sbf then point rslite.exe to that and hit go.

i think the main point with the xtralogic and wyse is that it doesn't require any forethought on your part... you can take over the native Windows remote desktop feature that's built into windows. VNC would require installing a client in advance. This is probably fine if you're only taking over...

Xtralogic allows you to set resolution manually, which is great for setting it to be 1280x750. This allows the windows desktop to take up "all of the screen above the xoom's own taskbar". \ I've been trying out a bunch of different options, and still find xtralogic's to be the best.

interface is nice, but limited in it's options... ES file Explorer is pretty clean, tablet wise (not sure why it still has an xmas background image though), and Root File Explorer is far and away my "go to" for this kind of stuff. I do like the layout of this new one, but no option to turn on...

you likely formatted it to NTFS in windows, reformat it again to FAT, and make sure it's fully seated in the slot of your phone. Formatting an SD card won't break it.
