It depends on the device. If your CPU temp is readable in sysfs, you put that path into the value that the custom field in cool tool reads. You need to go to the fine tune settings in cool tool.

You have to DIY it using one of the custom values. In a shell, do: find /sys -name "*temp*" and use whichever one of those corresponds to your cpu's current temp.

Gotta say...having many issues with this and AOKP. Saw the first post where it said a12 won't work with cm/aokp...still true? Loved a11 on 4.1.2 AOKP, but now EVERYTHING lags and it usually refuses to boot, hangs on the Google screen. Thanks in advance.

Negative. It's a kernel problem. Faux's kernel (12b7 and 12b8) are having the same issue. Of course, he has food poisoning so can't work on it at the moment.

Two options for the cause here: if it happens ONLY after flashing B7/B8, it's a kernel issue. If it's still happening on another kernel, it's definitely a blown speaker (hardware issue.) I flashed back to B6 and the problem is gone.

I'm not sure on the GSM version. On the LTE version, it's possible to use it to call. You need to change some variables in framework-res.apk first. For calling, it's possible. It works, too. Calls will connect. Downside is that you can't get any audio, even over bluetooth or wired headset...

Baseband and bootloader are not the same. Baseband is stored elsewhere and governs the radio. The bootloader tells the device what to start up when the device turns on. Two different things. Also, don't bother. We've already tried.

Can't. We've tried. Normally, it would be dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk1p1 of=/sdcard/ebb.img Then either a) put it into a special .zip or b) unpack a bootloader flashing .sbf, rename the dump to CG44.smg and re-pack it into the SBF. Method B is riskier. But yeah, we've tried.

Solarnz' build is not an upgrade. HLK42B is his, it ships back with HLK75D. When you downgraded it overwrote your bootloader to version 1045, aka 1.45. The bootloader you need for LTE to work is 1050, aka 1.50. Nothing to do but wait. Going to VZ won't help.
