Thanks for the replies! I was able to go on the Motorola support site and they will be sending me a box to ship the Xoom back for free repair. I noted two issues: device doesn't turn on and battery doesn't charge. Guess I have a "used" dock to sell now.

I just tried an mkv I originally had to use Handbrake to encode that's 720p/AC3 audio using Moboplayer. Soft decoding was choppy but Hard decoding played it flawlessly! Unfortunately... no sound. Rockplayer didn't perform as well.

Is there a way to use the eye-fi app to select the pictures to transfer via Direct Mode from the camera? It doesn't look like the app has this functionality but just wanted to check if I'm just missing something here.

Okay, for me, this didn't work with my unrooted HW169 WiFi-version I went ahead and rooted just to see if it made a difference, running Tiamat 1.4.1 and this works!

What is the best way to install 1.4 from 1.3.0? Do I have to be on 1.3.1 to enable mass storage first? *edit* nvm... realized that 1.3.0 should have USB enabled

no update here in CA either... last checked 1:18PM. Seems like if you have 3G, you can turn it off and then on to force update check.

I second the recommendation to use QuickPic for hi-res photos. Works great for HDMI-out to full screen LCD too. Hopefully they'll update it for better transitions...
