Yeah I've had no luck with p4u either. My main thing is that I think the carrier lock affects the NFC options for registering a card as I have not been able to get about bank cards on the NFC to associate in wallet :( I was looking forward to that feature. :(

Can someone actually sort out the repositories as filefactory is atrocious... I can't download anything from there..... i'd kill for even one of the newer ROMs as a torrent...

As much as I love my HD7 (I still use it for xbox live games and music it's getting pretty long in the tooth now), I'm looking forward to seeing what HTC does with the new OS (WP8) and even Nokia with their PureView tech! The HD7 imo didn't get the same sort of community backing as the HD2 did...

Well since the news started about the note 2 amazon warehouse uk has had them second hand for £265! So i picked up my first! :D

I can't speak for this ROM but on nightly 59 the hdmi was working for me fine for me on a UK MZ604. I don't flash often but looking to update again in maybe a week or two so hope for another 'stable' release. :)

Thought I saw on here that a old Nokia thin charger would work but alas it did not. Ah well. Just having to do without for te time being :-(

Just thought i'd put in a quick post that these Bluetooth headphones work a treat. Couldn't find that any one had verified that the volume was controllable from the tablet as this headset does not have volume controls. Also works on the Iphone 4S & HTC HD7 well (but the Xoom is more important...

I'd like to know the best positioning for the handset it's set for 'line of sight view'. I go cycling round the park often and I must admit it does not seem as accurate as it did with my old HD2. Could it just be down to construction.

Please correct me if i'm wrong but actual windows 7.5 release phones have it but the Mango release for older phones does not.

So my Sony Ericson stereo headset MIGHT display song titles. Nice :D Modem teathering would still be nice but I think Mango is going to add support for wifi hotspots now (at least on newer devices) so that should aleaviate my issues there

Also seems to work fine with Spotify once you input your login details into it (you didn't need to with songbird)...

Has anyone been able to get last.fm to scrobble from the Default xoom music player. I find I have to use songbird (which is nice but not as clean looking) to get this to work properly.

That kinda the deciding factor in me getting a titan to pair it with my moto xoom tablet so I don't mind. As nice as the HD7 is I don't tweak it much so the change will be nice as well as the better camera and front facing camera for skype (also coming)... Still I'm sure it'll get into a...

Cannot wait for skype myself either like loads of others I bet. With the recent announcement of Nokia bringing Ovi maps and their support to Windows 7 I think we are going to start seeing the gaps filled in pretty quickly which is pleasing.

Tesco mobile have some great sim only deals at the moment 300/500 (can't remember)mins... ultd txt and inet for £15 sim only (30 day contract)... you'd have to buy the handset outright though.

I do like the idea of this for work, either this or a windows based client for the HD2 so I can fire off txt messages in seconds with a keyboard.. at around £55 it's not a bad little keyboard.

does it even need to be, I had the sms issues right up until the latest official ROM and that seemed to fix it completely for me.

TCPMP-0.72RC1-GF5500Edition-Alpha4 works fine for me but I can't get the screen rotation to work :-(

in Opera Mobile 10 beta 2 the 'Custom User-Agent' is no longer under 'User Prefs'. User agent has its own heading with 'spoof User Agent ID' there with a value of 1. Is this what we change to get it working on Beta 2? P.S. it worked great on the stock Opera mobile. Thanks a lot ;)

There is no point posting it if you don't have an open ticket with them otherwise how are you going to submit the error data? Open a ticket and help get this resolved, it will also bring to light how widespread the problem is if lots of users contact them. I was told it was a 'uncommon'...

Guy,s seriously... the more people that contact HTC support the more apparent the problem will become. They say they are working on a fix and can give a .cab tool for error reporting.. the more people they offer this to and the more data they can get the better... help them help us fix a problem...

I'm convinced this is not fixed but it does seem a little 'better' as it hasn't happened as often. This is even after rom upgrade 1.48.405.2 (UK unbranded version) and all the other hotfixes (don't really apply but worth mentioning.

I find the front protection decent. I thought i put it on quite well but the final result wasn't great round the edges for me,. very tricky to put on and the instructions are crap but very good overall once it's on. Nice and usable.

I can confirm that the this headset works inc back / skip, titles do not display on the lcd though.
