Yeah, I work on 170st in Edmonton though. Selling car parts of all things (yet have a firm grasp of Linux). Luckily it's dead enough here that I was able to fix my phone. Not a lot of demand for performance car parts in winter. :)

There is a way... If you can access /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/modem you can grab a copy by doing a "cat /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/modem > /modem.bak" or something. I'm no expert but that's how I did something like this before. Not sure if root is needed.

You might want to mention what app you're streaming music with. Might just be the app. The native music player stays playing when you turn the screen off.

If you reflash the Rogers ROM, you're back to being unbranded. If you proceed, you reboot into recovery and it flashes the branded stuff onto your phone. I think it only asked me on the first few startup. Might have stopped after I performed a normal reboot.

There is a warning message when you start the RAZR HD with the neutral Rogers firmware. It says that it'll wipe your phone based on some SIM setting. If you choose to proceed, you get either Rogers or Fido branded firmware. I've reflashed the stock ROM a few times so its tested.

So, I'm not getting LTE speeds after flashing my Rogers modem_signed file... I'm on Fido (same network as Rogers). I only get LTE speeds with my OEM Rogers ROM. Is anyone actually testing their speeds? I'm using Speedtest. Whoops... I meant to post this in the JB thread. I haven't tried...

I bought 2 64GB micro SDXC cards. One for my Xoom and the other for my upcoming XT925. My Xoom was unable to format it so I used EaseUS Partition Master to format my 64GB cards as FAT32 partitions. So far so good...
