Post Android 11.0 Pixel 4a Touch Sensitivity Issue (inaccurate touches)

Sad to report this issue is NOT yet fixed. It appears to only happen when the phone heats up WITH a screen protector. Just played a game of Risk for about an hour and the problem came back. Just removed my Supershieldz screen protector and the problem is gone. When the phone cools down I'll...

Just upgraded my 4a to 11 today and I'm having the same issue. Also noticed it on the launcher...long press on an app to drag it just immediately opens the app. Just trying to type this post is a struggle. Touch sensitivity and accuracy is all messed up.

Post [ROM][STOCK[MM 6.0]XT1096 verizon flashable stock rom

You flash them in fastboot.. but I wouldn't try it yet unless someone else chimes in and says its a good idea... I'm not sure if they're patches or what. Its never good to muck around with modem files and the gpt especially with OTAs. It's very likely you will end up with a hard brick.

Post [ROM][STOCK[MM 6.0]XT1096 verizon flashable stock rom

I'm pretty sure the .p files are just patches to their corresponding .jar files and will do nothing if not properly extracted and applied... On another note, has anyone tried flashing the fsg and gpt from the lastest (4/12/16) OTA? Any notable differences in connectivity or cell standby usage?

It depends on what version of MIUI you're running. 1.3.5 was the last Froyo build, so if you've updated since then, you have Gingerbread. You can check under Settings > System > About Phone, and it should say either 2.2 or 2.3.3
