    Post Photo quality

One area that the camera impressed with was digital zoom (8x). Daylight pictures from 20 feet away were good. Guess that's one advantage of a high megapixel count.

    Post New update released

Got the update in India today, it's the same April update as Spain got earlier. No noticeable camera improvements but I liked the new single take camera mode.

    Post New update released

Samsung apparently paused updates in India during lockdown, they have now resumed updates. Maybe next month S10 Lite will finally be updated.

Post Is the camera identical to the full fat Samsung Galaxy S10?

With the S10 series getting some S20 camera features, S10 Lite is not mentioned in the press release.

    Post Charging speed

That was my experience with S7 and S9 hence I've turned off fast charging on S10 Lite.

This might be true for other phones too but super steady video mode makes the image a lot darker than usual.

    Post Outdoor visibility (max brightness)

The ambient light sensor doesn't work well if the light is at an acute angle to the screen (using Samsung pre-applied screen protector).

    Post New update released

No improvements noticable in low light pictures. Daylight pictures were decent anyway.

    Post Overall speed

I don't have a OnePlus device to compare but many review sites mention that OnePlus fingerprint scanner is better.

    Post Low light

Also noticed that the auto flash kicks in a lot more than my old S7, now wondering of if the S10 lite camera is an upgrade at all.

Post Time to take picture (camera launch speed)

Camera takes a long time to focus resulting in missed or blurry shots.
  17. SkullDeath

    Post Call quality

Noise cancellation isn't good, several times callers on the other end complained of background noise.
  18. SkullDeath

    Post Low light

The Night mode is just using long exposure - if you have steady hands or a tripod and a still subject you can get a decent picture. If you're using the camera indoors in auto mode with 500-1000 lumen lighting - the pictures are very dim. See attachment with low light pictures of a newspaper...

Post Is the camera identical to the full fat Samsung Galaxy S10?

No, not even close. The camera sensor on S10 Lite is the same as mid range A51 and it has a narrow aperture to boot. I haven't seen any benefits of the super steady OIS that mitigate these shortcomings.
  20. SkullDeath

    Post Overall speed

Overall the phone is pretty fast but the fingerprint scanner is very slow compared to the S7 physical home button scanner. Even the PIN entry on lock screen is a bit slow
  21. SkullDeath

    Post Charging speed

Charging estimate from 15% to full is 2 hours 11 minutes. This is with fast cable charging disabled.

    Post Cellular strength and throughput

Cellular strength is average (nothing special). It does support WiFi calling over Airtel.

Post [ROM][OFFICIAL] LineageOS 14.1 Nightlies for the Moto X 2014 (victara)

I was on the June 30 nightly, updated to July 7 yesterday and got connected to WiFi. Let's see how this build works. EDIT: Spoke too soon, same WiFi issues with this build. All other devices at home connect to the same access point without issues.

I haven't seen anything about it in the last 3-4 pages so apologies if it's an older issue. Since the last nightly WiFi has been really unreliable, not connecting to saves networks and sometimes not even refreshing WiFi networks. Anyone else seeing this?

    Post [Q&A] [RECOVERY][victara] TWRP 2.8.0.1 touch recovery [2014-10-20]

On version 3.0.2-2 I get a corrupt zip file error every time I try to flash. This has happened 5 times since encrypting the phone with two different ZIP files. Is this due to TWRP not supporting Nougat encryption? Is this resolved in 3.1.0? Sent from my 2014818 using Tapatalk
