Post [ROM][official] HTC OneX CyanogenMod 10.1 (4.2) release

I noticed that too. It seems like the notification drawer gets stuck or something. Try pressing the back button then try to answer. Or press sleep button and wait a second or two, then wake and answer.

Post [ROM][official] HTC OneX CyanogenMod 10.1 (4.2) release

Went from A10 to nightly 23/09. Loving it! Feels faster and more stable. The bluetooth seems like it has improved, used to stutter and cut off. Still having issues with low wifi reception, it's sometimes has strange cases it'll go from 0 bars to full then back to 0 all of a sudden. But usually...

Post [ROM][official] HTC OneX CyanogenMod 10.1 (4.2) release

Hey guys, as strange as it sounds.. It a couple of recharge cycle really does seem to help the battery life. Post [ROM][official] HTC One X - CyanogenMod 9.1 - weekly - 4.0.4

Battery drain problem here too. On non-s2w kernel. I'm having to charge my phone 3 times a day. And always wake up with a dead phone, not good! I've noticed a funny behaviour though, the phone seems to randomly wake up by itself. I saw somewhere back that it's not goin into deep sleep or...

Post [HOWTO] Manually remove 3-dot menu (NO FLASH, any version/stock or custom)

Yup I mentioned it does remove the action overflow button or what ever they all it in GMAIL, Play etc. I've mentioned that. I don't think there is an easy way to fix that seems like it's a framework change, I tracked it to the PhoneWindowManager class but I'm not sure what names they've used...

Thread [HOWTO] Manually remove 3-dot menu (NO FLASH, any version/stock or custom)

Hey guys. I had a frustrating time trying to get this going with stock rom. This method requires no flashing. REQUIRES ROOT, ADB and SU Important: Please note. This will not remap the application switcher to HOME LONG PRESS. I don't know how to do it. If you know, you can reply here and we'll...

The sound is running off a small amplifier. then RCA to 3.5mm. Haven't had the chance to play around with the wifi tether as right now i don't have a wifi card.. It would make sense to have wifi tethering or just wifi reciever and use a phone to tether 3g to the system. Avoids having separate...

    Post Android In-Vehicle Infotainment

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking what about using the GPIOs on the board and attach that to the reverse light? would that be possible? and using some resistors on the way to limit the voltages so i don't fry the board.. but we just need to detect some voltage input... Not sure, will...

    Post Android In-Vehicle Infotainment

Not sure what you mean exactly. I'll try the relays because it at-least gives me a standard interface to work with (bluetooth or wifi) so there isn't any work you have to deal with on the hardware abstraction.. Although it would probably be better designed if I had some sort of voltage input...

Thanks a lot! It needs a lot of time and dedication but it's a real good learning curve. I had to learn a lot of things on the way.. especially c/c++ I wasn't great at but had decent skills with higher level programming. If you are planning to work with MeeGo its a little fussy with the...

    Thread Honeycomb and pre-3.0 apps

Since honeycomb is now tablet only, I really hope they have a windowing system to deal with applications made for smaller display. That way we can have multiple apps running side-by-side.. rather than being enlarged and pixelated? Could be possible because when they show-cased the atrix it...
