I tried the full body shield type a few years ago on my HTC Hero. I wasn't a fan of using water to apply them, but they are definitely hard wearing. Just ordered the cheap shields from Germany. Thanks deksawyer.

It may not be real. When I was trying to sell my One X some low life bid £460 and then closed their ebay account after the auction ended, effectively blocking the sale. I wasn't allowed to offer second chance to the next bidder straight away, and have now had to re-list it. :mad:

Are carrier based CIDs not going to be able to install custom JB ROMS until the carriers get around to releasing the update? If so that is bad news. What's the point of unlocking, rooting etc, if we're still bound by sluggish carrier updates? Pretty sure my CID is H3G_something, so if this is...

Hi, I have a problem with my phone where it freezes up at random moments and won't respond until I power the screen off, power back on and unlock it. It started a while back after installing a live wallpaper but I've since done two factory resets and now it even does it during the setup...

I wasn't far from it but just thankful the phone still does everything it should. The scratches on the camera were around the metal rim so no effect on picture quality. I ordered a case for it the next day.

Do people think that the flicker worsens over time? I picked up my 3rd device a week ago and so far haven't had flicker. I'm just staring at it now though and thinking I can detect a tiny hint of it. If it's a problem that degrades over time then it's definitely hardware I guess?

I love mine too, even though I'm on my third device now after returning two. The phone is just too primo to give up on yet. Maybe if I've returned it 6 times I'll start considering giving up. :D

I've noticed a tiny bit of flicker in the Play Store when the screen goes grey while loading. Does this count as the same flicker problem or am I just searching too hard for a fault?

I've pre-ordered on 3. Was considering cancelling because of branding but as long as it's fairly straight forward to remove by rooting etc then I can cope with that I guess. Is it going to have 3 logo on boot? :mad: Also, will OTA updates take longer because of the branding?

Anothe DHD noob question here. I bought a DHD off eBay and I know it is locked to Vodafone, but I'm not sure if it's branded. If I don't get the Vodafone logo when I switch it on does that mean it's not branded?
