So you normally have your data partition encrypted, but are still able to flash custom roms? All guides I read so far say that you should flash a script disabling the encryption, but it sounds as if you are able to use encryption. Could you briefly explain how that works? Thanks!

You might want to check your APN settings, go to settings, Data usage, menu icon top right > Mobile networks, then the second entry from the bottom (something with access points), and check if the settings agree with what your provider states on the internet. If not, make a new one with these...

At the moment I don't have a tampered flag, it only says 'unlocked'. I'll try to lock the bootloader before starting the RUU. Do you know if the Tampered flag will return if I S-ON my M7 after completing the RUU?

Well a repair should fix your HOX right? And if it won't then they cant do a whole lot more than offer you a new one right? Just to bad it takes up a lot of time to arrange everything...

Restore your HOX to the stock rom and relock the thing (lots of guides out there) and then contact HTC about your problem if it still exists. I've had good experiences with HTC warranty in the Netherlands (and yes, i was unlocked too). And with good I mean that they weren't whining about it...
