Same here. Which means we with T-Mobile devices don't get to use voice commands to answer or reject calls. One of my favorite features has been left out! WTF?!

I decided to hold on rooting because of all the complaints about the battery life. Apparently its because all rooting methods so far use the engenering kernel....it was not designed with battery life in mind.

Thanks, but that didn't work. I should have been more specific. Is there a way to use apex or nova but apply one of the custom theme packages that is offered on the Galaxy S7? I thought that if i set the system theme to a s7 custom theme, then set apex or nova to the "system" theme, the custom...

I currently have an unrooted Verizon S7 Edge. I accepted the OTA update the day I got my phone. I'm now on p13. What rooting method should I use in order to load this rom? I'd like to stay with the "V" (Verizon) version rather than using the "U" version. Will I be able to go back to Verizon...

Thanks! That's what i'm doing....research. I've rooted my last 4 galaxy phones but the technique for the s7 is different and throwing me off. got my head around it now.

Thanks a ton, Justin.ice! I see that we no longer have TWRP. HOw do i make a nandroid backup? Also, is there a way to backup the app installs i've done while my phone is stock? then, once i get root/install rom, I can just restore them?

flashing another rom to get the additional benefits. btw....i've rooted my last 4 galaxy phones, so i'm familiar with the terms, etc. it's just that this rooting is different than the past techniques. thanks for your help.

I have a verizon edge model sm-g935v....build # g9325vvru4ap13. I see everyone talking about the 935u firmware. Is an update for my "V" or is it firmware for another edge model (and i shouldn't be concerned about it)?

EMSPilot, Is there a way you can update this rom with a StageFright fix?

Had to reinstall 19 and now I can't get my potato clock to be centered. In fact, can't get it to be left either. rebooted, etc and it's still on the right. any thoughts on how to center?

Does anyone know how to permanently stop the dev edition from doing a Verizon software update? I was able to do this on my Note 2, but can't find a way to do it on Note 4.

Came from Note 2 running Noteworthy Goodness. Now on Definitive rom and loving it. Very fast, feature/tweak rich, etc. OP Pilot will be coming out with 5.0 base. Our days of having 10 great roms to choose from are almost in the past. Luckily we have definitive.

That's a good question. And no, you're not missing anything. Not there on mine either. Maybe it was left out as bloatware (like voice commands). Luckily my wallpaper stuck from 1.8.

"Voice Commands" seems to be missing from settings/Accessibility/Answering-Ending Calls. This lets you say "answer" or "reject" when a call comes in. It was there in 16, but missing in 18. I did do a dirty flash, could that be why it's missing or was it just left out of the new build? Edit: Did...

Samsung keyboard keys switched? Somehow, the keys on my Samsung keyboard no longer allow long-clicks to type symbols ike $ & % @, etc. I now have to long-click the "period" key to access symbols. any idea how to revert to the original layout?

Samsung keyboard missing long-press symbols hmmmmm......for some reason my Samsung keyboard no longer offers the ability to "long-press" a key and choose a symbol. The keys just have letters on them. I have to press the SYM button to get symbols. Couldn't find a setting in...

I'm trying to use this module to block root detection by my tivo app. after I installed the module, I rebooted and didn't see an app icon in my app drawer. Is there a way to launch this module and have superuser triggered? Is there a settings that I could go to?
