I think I know why(maybe) If your problem is device manager in windows, it shows as "knoxll" (or something that looks like that)with a weird triangle that looks like windows installed it wrong when amazon is adb push update, you need to change driver manually to "adb composite device"...

SunShine Worked SunShine Worked for me, had to have an unupdated phone and it cost $25 But did work. There may be new ways now I'm not sure. for me Sunshine couldn't temp root to work at first (kingroot was the only root that did work) so I had to use kingroot first. I don't think king root...
