Need to click power button, screen timed out... Some of the older twrp builds had bug where screen would turn off w/timeout and not turn back on, needed to do hard reboot(hold power 10+secs) to recover. Turning off screen timeout in TWRP settings was the easy fix to make sure it didnt happen again.

Thanks, that allowed me to delete the script file. But I was still stuck in a bootloop, tried everything to fix it. Then tried Flash-all w/o -W and still didnt work, had to leave the -W to delete everything... Hopefully it doesnt happen to anyone else

Whenever a rom is flashed (once in TWRP of course, can't use stock recovery to flash custom roms), one needs to flash twrp.zip immediately after or TWRP will not stick(you will loose twrp recovery)... 1 reboot/boot into TWRP recovery 2 wipe cache and data(not internal storage) 3 flash rom 4...

Yes once you boot twrp.img using Computer (fastboot boot twrp.img) and your in TWRP recovery you need to flash the twrp.zip immediately after the rom. If you don't twrp won't stick, and needs to be done anytime you flash a rom. Then Boot up android and set it up, after you can install root by...

I think with EX you need to remove dtbo.img from the kernel zip to flash it on custom roms. Upzip the zip file, delete the dtbo and rezip. Or what I do on my computer is make a copy of the kernel file in another folder, then open the zip(w/o unzipping) and just delete the dtbo directly...

I had the same error, had to mount system manually in TWRP(just click mount, then make sure system is checked) then it flashed fine...
