I would wait for months before buying any Zepp watches.
My only good news was to be able to unpair and pair the X to a new phone. Lost some of the watch settings, though.
If you want notifications, you need to be connected to your phone. Having said that, i agree that the watch should be mostly independent of your phone.
Perhaps this is a language or cultural problem in communication? The initial price for the X is not that bad, but I would not pay full price now, with other watches from Amazfit available now.
I can see functions that updates continuously can eat battery life, but not ones that are updated daily or a few times a day. Displaying seconds could be a drain.
Over 11 days at 34%.. No fitness tracking or workouts. minimal connecting via BT. After the next charge, I will use it more and see how battery life is.
Could the .31 update have been pulled? I checked this afternoon, ET, and do not see it. Or does it take loner to register on the IOS app versus Android?
Connected this morning and it automatically did the updates. Anyway to stop that or make it manual only. Watch keeps wanting to update AGPS, how do i stop that, as i am indoors?
i had that on already. Watch had little charge, but I paired it with no QR code. Swiping is not smooth, the firmware seems to be 1.0.0.28. How long will it take to flash the firmware, which i will try tomorrow.
