How did you flash it in the first place? You probably (did it the easiest way, which is you) saved the ROM .zip file on an SD card, booted into TWRP recovery, chose Install, and selected the zip file you'd saved (from external_sd folder).

Shouldn't even have to flash a new ROM; just reflashing this ROM should get you trebuchet back

But don't forget the key extra steps that are in the opening post of this thread, to do with using an adblocker to block certain DNS lookups. If you forget that, and you open the app and find it won't work, you have to start again - remove the app, reboot, reinstall app.

Magisk worked fine for me. Did you try both together, or one after the other? It has to be either or. I'd suggest wiping system and boot partitions, install this ROM and GApps, and check everything boots without root. Then install the Magisk binary but not SuperSU.

That explains how you installed the Magisk zip. It does not explain how you actually got the phone rooted, because root requires the Magisk zip and the manager .apk both to be installed. Are you sure you actually have working root?

How are you seeing that it's not rooted? Try opening an app that needs root (I open the root of the directory tree used FX Root Access) and Magisk should pop up a dialog to ask for root permission for that app.

You could try wiping the System partition (and caches) in TWRP, but leaving Data as it is, then installing a clean copy of this ROM, and then installing Magisk over it. But you wouldn't update to this version by using resurrection remix. Did you want this, or that?

So, if the issue has only just happened for the first time, this may not be your problem. But try Canary to pick up 18115 (or whatever build it's now on) and also the latest nightly build of the Manager app. Then see.
