this has been discussed many times, it seems to be a software fault possibly due to smart connect, unless you indeed have a defective unit. try turning on and off smart connect and the profiles associated with your headphones, that did it for me.

I charge my phone via magnetic cable that attaches to the dock connector so that i dont wear out the seal on the micro usb door etc. But I've noticed that if i turn off the screen it comes back on within 5 minutes while charging. Does anyone know of a setting I can change or is this a bug...

quick question, could the shatter proof film have anything to do with poor screen quality? Sure some of your posts indicate definite hardware faults, but some of the minor imperfections, can they be attributed to the pre installed film?

The only reason it improves battery life is because its take you less time to download things which is a given. If you're constantly downloading extremely large files then maybe you need it, but for me not so much.

IT FELL. With no case on it onto my ceramic kitchen tile! Luckily it fell with my gym bag as it was on top of it, and that somewhat slowed it down. It's now damaged on 2 corners and the metal housing is sort of scraped in those corners, hardly noticeable but now it's not perfect anymore...

I believe the fact that the touchscreen doesn't work under water was also the reason why sony put the hardware camera button on it so you can take pics/video underwater
