no you can't . this is a restore instruction. you have to flash system.img in order to update your phone with a rooted device.

install HWOTA correctly, download all 3 HWOTA files and put them together then make sure put those update.zip inside dload file inside HWOTA and make sure oeminfo has all 4 files about VKY 109 or 129 something. each of them have like 65mb. then u won't have any problem.

what's inside of oeminfo/VKY/ file? does it have all four p10 plus models?

OMG it worked !!!! I am so stupid that i forgot to change the file name of hw_eu_full_update.zip to hw_eu_update.zip as instruction told. I only changed the update_full_date_public but i forgot to change the previous one. Now i'm in the official system. Thank you so much Blackball...

thanks mate. gonna try to flash again right now with those zip, this one seems the right one with 628.82mb . the last VKY-L09 hw eu zip that i downloaded was 135 mb more or less.

Can you shutdown the device? if u can , while it's shutdown, hold VOL - and plug in usb cable. or just hold VOL- and power button.

yes, i believe it's newest on firmwarefinder ru . and i couldn't find update_full_VKY-L09_hw_eu.zip i have successfully downloaded "Update.zip" and "Update_Data_full.zip" from URL.

i did everything as insctruction told yesterday and i had no problem with update_data_full_public.zip. it's just that "update_full_VKY-L09_hw_eu.zip" i couldn't download from URL .:( which is why i was searching on google to find "update_full_VKY-L09_hw_eu.zip"

now i'm stuck at boot loop "your device is booting now" then it rebooted and back to "your device is booting now" again then automaticly goes to Erecovery mode. I have to shutdown device for now and hope i can find some solution tomorrow :S

Holy Crap it worked, i Extracted system.img and other img from update.app by some Chinese scripted unpack script. and I'm trying to restore my device though fastboot mode with adb.

Guys This Thead https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2315547 tells you how extract flashable rom files from firmware update.app. It should work but i only made to Unknownfile XX .img and i can't download his script "HuaweiFinder" from his google drive.

I haven't tried your Firmware Finder method , i think i can install crappy system.img then try your Firmware Finder method. Because right now i wiped my system and i'm without system :crying:

Failed Looks like i have to stock with that bit longer dload with update.app method failed. and recovery TWRP install missing md5. Unless i get System.img or i guess i can't get another system.:crying:
