One other thing to note is that we can only change one setting per color, not the gamma curve. Who knows what that looks like. Our changes may be trivial. I just set the white point. Maybe when business gets slow I'll go back and measure the white point of various gray levels and see what I find.

the systemless xposed thread clearly says the latest xposed with magisk will not ever pass safetynet. so the question for me is no longer "can i pass with xposed?" but rather "is there a gravitybox equivalent for magisk?" :)

Also I'm not sure why, but Magisk seems to forget it is the rooting entity. Other apps can gain root permission but Magisk shows a red x in the "properly rooted" box.

It's definitely enabled. I can pass safetynet while rooted with Magisk, but as soon as I install the xposed systemless from within magisk downloads and the material xposed apk, safetynet says NO.

uninstalled posed (zip + app just in case) and safetynet is golden. this is without a reflash--same 1.0.8 install I had. I installed the systemless xposed and the material app with it... safetynet fails when it's active. I used your links. Could xposed modules cause the safetynet check failure?

Yes, Nova launcher does work fine with this ROM. I tried the Beta 5.0 version and it loaded right up.

You can... but it doesn't really matter. flash a 100% stock rom, install the boot logo fix, stock recovery.img and return it. My phone was accepted in that condition.
