After Lineage Team officially releases LOS 16. Update: Seems like I might have fixed the Google Play Services issue. I installed the Google Play services 13.2.75 beta apk 13.2.75 (100400-209029382) . And for now it works without the phone getting hot and killing it after 2 hours.

Get GetTube latest alpha . Solved all my problems. It is better than this and its free. It has 10 times more options than the paid version of this app , which is in comparison ... kind of a joke.

Lol. Finally everyone comes up with the Youtube stutter problem. I had it this morning and wondered why I was the only one. I showed logs to Luk. He told me to try and update firmware to the latest (7.7.6) and it worked. So update fw and it will be fixed. Manual instruction on first page.

fyi you need a reboot. Also I am on latest build 17.06. flash latest zip + root addon + magisk 13 in recovery with same settings as mentioned and it should work like on mine.

Los comes without root . So it's normal. You have to flash the Los root add-on in recovery. USB is fine. Just press on usb debug notification and switch to file transfer mode .

Am Also on Mi5s. Enable core mode and hide. Works again after doing so.

You can try to use the older ROM again and see if it works to see if its even build related. Because it might be that the banking apps updated to latest safety measurements. Because regardless of root, Google started to let app devs lock you out when you just have an unlocked bootloader.

Even with no root . You won't pass . Try root add-on and install magisk from PlayStore . You can disable the add-on afterwards .

This build doesnt pass safetynet. You can try installing Magisk and patch Safetynet. It may work after that for some apps. But dont expect too much.

If its really bad It is most likely a Fingerprint related issue. Try to disable Fingerprint reader and see how battery life is. If that solves your problem it is caused by the fp which seems to be a mess. And that mess is coming from Xiaomi/qualcomm. Not Lineage. And Lineage devs cant fix this...
