I have had errors like that at times with my Quantum (pre-Australian Firmware Flashing). Some firmwares for certain phones and some versions of windows phone had that problem. I think it has to do with proprietary drivers and such. At least that's what I read.

when i flashed the C900k rom, my phones colors are slightly off. the magenta theme is darker, and the lockscreen wallpaper i used which had a white arrow on it now displays as a light grey arrow.
