Camera360 I shot roughly 10 pictures and I had no issues. I can't say if it works on the long run

I installed Camera360 free app and it works. You can use that instead of stock app, at least for photos, until camera issue is not yet fixed. For the video, the stock camera app records, but baddly (with green/purple artifacts)

using Ext4 as well... BTW at least for me, it is not smooth at all. Some apps lag...but is is an acceptable compromise....now I have 800mb of spare internal memory...

do not know if we have the same issue, but me too even if enough memory is reported as free, I cannot install programs and I get "not enough memory available"

To make it clear, app2sd is implemented, as in all MIUI roms; it is data2ext that is not embedded in the ROM and should be implemented case by case... .. in my experience data2ext is fine when it works (I can live with a bit slower phone)... but is a continuos trouble...to implement and manage...

A2SD is not missing...and the default launcher is ok to me...did you made a fresh install?
