its a multi-touch issue with our hd2's as our hardware only supports two-point multi-touch whereas wp7 devices support four. so you might notice some stuttering or the screen jittering around. as far as i know there is no fix other than buying an actual wp7 device... downloaded the htc omega camera improvement xap but i dont see any difference... its also supposed to allow panoramic and burst mode in camera settings but its inaccessible... has anyone gotten it to work? or is it just hardware limitations of our hd2's?

I had the exact same problem nothing I used worked. Except for a Nokia device. I ended up using an n97 and worked perfectly I was able to finally format my sd cards. If you can get a hold of one this is guaranteed to work.

i had the same issue on 7008 where it would freeze after boot up. had to go back to 7004. no need to flash wm6.5 though, just go into magldr, and flash dwi.exe through usb flasher. had to force update like you did lol worked like a charm! best of luck ---------- Post added at 02:47 AM...

yep it's a hardware problem. i know because this just happened to me last week, except that the start menu would pop up instead... i did multiple hard resets but nothing. t-mobile said it's a common issue with our phones though your the only other case of this happening that i know of... other...
