Not an O2 thing as I forced Mango on my sim free Omnia 7, have the OEM firmware update too and no voice here either

Please use the search, this has been asked many times before. There is no front facing camera on omnia 7, just proximity and light sensor.

I've been using Mango since the day it first rolled out on my 16GB Omnia 7 from expansys UK. Used the forced update, got the lastet OEM updated firmware with it too :)

Same, only difference I can notice is the capactive keys being disabled then your finger is on screen

Same here, Samsung ringtone is missing now that I have applied the most recent update (the firmware one) to my 16GB O7 that I got from expansys, so would have been a german model

I saw the same (well I wouldn't say the phone got sluggish, still very fast) but WP Bench results decreased deleting IE history got it back up to 4.9 then deleting maps history got it to 5.9 deleting bing history no difference

Serriously I dont see the need for Google to push WebM, H.264 is well supported, it's funny that google make a webM plugin for IE9 and MS make a H.264 plugin for chrome

I have the same issue with HD video (720p) normal videos (VGA) sync fine, also have the same fix i.e works on xp laptop (although video doesnt play on laptop) but I can tranfer it to my desktop

I thought it was based on IE7 and IE8 which is why all the reviews I've seen have actually said its pretty decent. Not fussed about HTML5 at the mo as even the standards committee has said its not ready for prime time yet

I voted for sticking with WP7, all the latest videos I've seen show how super smooth it is so I wont be switching to clunky Andriod anytime soon :p

After seeing the engadget xbox live parts of WP7, I can say yes I'm even more excited than before! And for the record I couldnt care less about C&P which will be added later, when there's a HALO app!

Xbox live on WP7 is full of win!! Being able to customise your avatar from your phone, apps that use your avatar looks sweet. Hopefully we see titles such as Forza for WP7 soon too :D

Looking good! Although in some places the UI is a bit confusing, such as in the video at 0.26 where you have Goals Goals as the pivot and Open Open, why is this? as its not clear from the video. You also see this again later in the video with Edit Edit and Twitter twitter etc. Also at 2.13...

Having seen videos on how the camera button works, you can now understand why you cant just bodge WP7 onto a HD2.

Good! a limit to 5 free apps should stop the marketplace being flooded with Soundboard/Fart apps etc and so will the trial API which will mean non of this Lite version of the app too

Bing maps is brilliant especially the Silverlight version which is what i believe the phones use is particularly faster than google maps. But I agree that at the mo it's very US focused featurewise, hopefully this changes before launch

Because low end devices suck, and to ordinary consumers sucky devices are due to the opperating system apparently. As seen many a time with rubbish specd qualcomm cpus in earlier WM devices and therefore the ordinary public thinks WM sucks

Yeah I had that too, first time it loaded up blank, second time it worked fine. Smooth and without chainfires drivers too
