It is related to the S9 Screen ratio which is 18.5:9. I already have S10 plus and the screen ratio is 19:9 thats why we have big boarders. I tried my old nexus 6p and there where no boarders due to 16:9 aspect ratio.

yup am on 2.19 the problem related to SuperSu, once adb shell granted root access boot loader unlocked.

I get the following can't create /factory/asuskey permission denied. Any idea? problem solved thanks guys just access superSU and allow adb shell, in case some one will face the same problem. :)

Sorry am at work so I didn't get it. the new steps are: 1- Copy SuperSU 2.46 fix to the device. 2- Install CWM recovery. 3- Flash SuperSU 2.46 fix in CWM then reboot to system. "No need to flash the old SuperSu before installing the fix".
