Hi everyone I also have the exact same problem but with my Z3 compact. But I noted that it all started after I try the ultra stamina mode feature. I don't know if it somehow messed up the battery or not :silly:

My phone also had this problem last night after the new .164 update. I turned everything off (wifi, Bluetooth, wifi scanning, nfc, account sync,...). The phone says Android os kept it awake. Anyone has the same problem?

That's also what i guess but if the battery degrades, I think it should degrade at a slowly rate, not suddenly drain 4 times faster like that. It's an excellent phone apart from this plague.

Thanks for the suggestion. But I don't think it's the reason since in the 3rd picture, the media server just runs for only 2m in the whole time i let the phone idle (12 hour), and the phone was asleep the whole time (held awake 1m 42 sec).

My nexus 7 also had that problem. The screen stayed dead for along time. Sometimes it worked but not long. I went to the Asus center and they replaced the screen. But it still not working and they said the problem was in the motherboard @@. The new screen has a pint tint and isn't as good as...

The clear audio + mode sounds terrible in my opinion. I'm using the Unique and bass boost equalizer presets in sound enhancements. They sound much closer to my Walkman.

Poor reception seems to be the cause. The phone consumes more power to keep the signal. This happens on every phone. I don't think thats excessive battery drain Hope this helps. :)

My N7's touchscreen suddenly died after about 2 weeks. Asus changed a different screen for me but I think this new screen's colors are worse. I notice that the white looks like pink, especially when I use it near the windows. I find this really annoying :( Anyone have the same pink hue problem? :(

Well, the ROM didn't come with the bootsound enabled so I type bootfxoff so that the mp3 file is moved to SD card as instructed. But the problem is both "bootfxon" and "bootfxoff" commands give error: "sh: bootfxon/off: not found" :eek: . I typed su before typing those commands btw :silly:

Enable bootsound? I did as instructed but when I type bootfxoff in terminal emulator, it says "sh: bootfxoff: not found" :confused: Is there another way to enable boot sound on this ROM?

Well, I used wug's nexus root toolkit to root and unlock bootloader. If I use the option:"go back to stock lock bootloader and flash stock", can I install update from OTA like normal again?

GSM stated that their xperia z1 is a pre-production one so it probably doesn't have the latest software :eek: . Therefore their statements on the phone are probably not accurate :p

I did make a clean install (wipe data -> cache -> dalvik -> battery stats -> format system -> install gingersnap v2.3 -> install GTR theme -> reboot) but it still had boot loop :( . Don't know what i did wrong :eek:

Hi! I flashed them yesterday and i had the same problem too! It seems that v2.3 has problems if we flash a theme on it. Try install apk themes and apply it via "theme chooser". Search this: "cyanogenmod 7 themes". Hope this helps :)

My nexus 7 doesn't show up on my PC as well! I have to connect it as a camera and transfer files to the available folder. Then i use file manager app to move them out on the tablet later.

Well the #1 driver solution didn't work for me so i try #2 driver solution and it worked :D. Have u try all driver solution?

Try restarting your N7. Every time i have this problem I restart my tablet and the battery draining goes away for about a week :)

Just restart your N7. The battery draining issue would go away for about 5 days. This trick works for me :)
