Thanks for the tips Jman420. However, I tried setting enforce with setenforce 1. I do not get errors using those commands. But permissive mode still remains. Maybe I have to ask the ROM developer (it is not an official LOS).

No it's the other way round: I want to set enforcing. It seems there is no problem with installation and the boot script of the module seems to get loaded (Magisk log) but in phone settings info it still says permissive. Is there a way I can provide a log or something?

I put some scripts in init.d and also added a userinit.sh script in /data/local/ with all files and created folders permissions set to 0755 and User/Group Root. However, changes are not applied during boot. Any ideas?
