The original post says "You just need one Network patch. This must match your original model - which you had before rebranding!". Can you confirm patching the dual sim patch wont cause a problem?

So I made my own patched ramdisk, then flashed that and again tried the hiding of the magisk manager, still no luck sadly

I've also tried several versions of the magisk manager, going back as far as v16, none of them will repack and hide the magisk manager. Is it possible it's due to the flashed ramdisk we're all using from the mega link?

Hi thanks for your reply, yes I'm referring to the repackaging of magisk manager, one of my banking apps keeps detecting root and I suspect it's detecting the magisk manager. Do you know is it possible to manually repackage the magisk manager or flash a repackaged version?

I'm on 19.3, same thing, hide manager doesn't work. All other functions are ok though.

Version 8.3.1.2 and below works. However any version above that and I get prompted to grant root permissions. Then following is displayed: Acquiring permissions, "titanium backup has been granted super user rights". The screen stays black and the app doesn't work.

Is anyone having problems running the newest version of Titanium Backup on this phone?

That worked for me, all seems to be working and my work profile is also working now as well which is brilliant. Ill see how it works over the weekend.

I'm rooted on 540 patch02. Can i just flash the EVA-AL10_b540-Partition-ODM-restore.zip, reboot back into TWRP and flash EVA-L09_b540-SingleSIM_NetworkPatch-v2.5.zip or is there more involved? Will either of these zips wipe my phone? Will work profiles now work on the phone?

You would need the bootloader unlocked for this to work. I had the same problem with battery draining and camera crashing the phone, phones over 2 years old. Getting the battery replaced fixed that for me.

Using that app i can see some activity on my phone with b20, but not for very long, it seems to prefer band3. But that could just be the area i'm in. Is it the same on the new network patch as well?

If this band is supported how come someone on here said on Oreo they no longer had 4g but as soon as he downgraded back to Nougat it worked again.

Unfortunately no sorry, a lot of power enhancements I'm doing are designed for when the screen is off not on.

I got my P9 battery replaced recently, between that and the upgrade to B540 I now get about a day and a half of use on the phone vs the half day I was getting. Best i've ever had. That would be a mix of active and standby though

For reinstalls in the future I don't suppose the network patch zip could be updated with all this. I know it removes other Chinese apps, so could it also include the removal of - HiVoice and Pinyin plus editing the lines in /cust/All/cn/xml/hw_defaults.xml as you detailed?
