How can I flash that when FlashFire needs root? Unfortunately reboots don't work. Worse, 3/4 tablets had this issue. This sure is troublesome, is this something that happens often or am I just very unlucky?

Is the a reason why my tablet lost Root? It's enabled in Dev options and seemed to work at the start but not anymore. It's still enabled for Apps and ADB but Root Checker and anything that needs root confirms it's off. What can I do to turn it on?

I've cleared all the background tasks and nothing has changed. I really don't understand how this can happen. I'm using the March 25 Lineage version with ARM 5.1 Nano from Fire OS 5.1.1 on FlashFire 0.58 and I tried the newest version too. Is there anything else to do?

With FlashFire, I've done all the steps and pushed Flash. All I get is a prompt that I accept then "Loading..." for over 15 minutes. This can't be right can it? How long does Loading take?

I have an issue with audio as well but it's different in that when I lower volume to mute you can still hear the sounds play at very low volumes (have to place ear next to speakers to really hear it). I'm wondering if that's your case as well.

Can I just confirm with you that all Amazon apps work for you? I have loads of apps on my Amazon account but can't access them since I'm on Cpasjuste's AOSP version. If they're working that's a great reason to upgrade my rom.

Take a look at the forums. At this point you can flash your HDX so that it's basically Android 4.2.2. Thing like Google Apps will all work. I check Gmail and use Google Drive daily on my HDX. HDX is the best 7 inch tablet on the market right now. Its only real flaw being Fire OS can be remedied...

I second this. MX Player on HDX will run 720p smoothly but when it gets to 1080p you'll have to do a bit of tweaking for it to run perfectly. Subtitles also show up. I love watching Anime on this tablet, the screen is just so nice. My HDX is rooted and flashed though so I'm not sompletely sure...

Replacement was expediated by Amazon so in two days. You have a limited warranty for a year. You just have to convince Amazon that your problem falls under that. Edit: It's admirable to try and fix it yourself but in my opinion it's far too time consuming.
