Got the watch! And it's quite nice! I love the Android Wear OS...quite a bit stepup from Samsung's Tizen. Battery life is just fine too, lasts over a day of usage. Very happy with the purchase. I just need to get a need strap.

Updated to the latest ROM. It's nice but it overheats a lot, which takes a beating on the battery life (CPU must be always maxed). Also, is there any AOSP customization or is it purely Google Stock? I want to change the multitasking cards to what it was before -- it's quite terrible.

How is this build? Any random crashes or force quits? I'm using an older Tasker build which crashes at least once a day.

Whenever I answer the phone ON my phone, it redirects the audio to the Gear. Is there an option to stop that? I turned off Bluetooth Voice/Audio in the Bluetooth settings but then it completely disables the Gear. Any ideas? I'm using the gear on a CM 4.4 S3, so no TW. That might be the issue...

Everything doesn't work except notifications. I'm using AOKP, basically the Nexus 5 build on my S3 -- mostly because Touchwhiz is absolute shiz. I installed everything (apks), but the apk crashes when I connect. Notification works beautifully though, thankfully.

I got it to work by installing everything. Some things don't work like Email, and I have to manually connect it instead of it connecting automatically... small hinderance compared to using full-on TouchWiz ROM - which is completely useless.

What's the best touchwhiz ROM at the moment? Maybe 4.4? The ROM I'm using is 4 months old... I can feel it deteriorating slowly...

How are you getting that battery life? Are you leaving it not connected, and just a watch standalone?

I noticed having non-TW launcher caused issues with the motion sensor. Using stock had better motion sensor.

2 versions is fine, as long as the prices are substantially different. Like Neo is 200, and Gear 2 is 280. Not sure what you mean by copycating two version. Pebble has an old version and a new version, they never released two versions at the same time. Not sure why this is considered "copy-cat"...

I can guarantee you the pricing. Premium one will be $319.99 while the Neo will be $279.99. The neo looks better, sleeker, and more casual. But I'm so glad they removed the camera on the strap, and allow the strap to be removable. Day one for me, that's for sure. I'll sell off my Gear for $150...

Downgrade your Gear Manager, its conflicting with the latest ROM. I have a question though... why is there an Email icon? We are going to finally get emails on the gear?

When I play it it lags a little. I suppose I need to unlock the second core to play it? Also it drains the battery a lot if I don't force close it after I'm done with it.

I don't have any suggestions but some comments on your post. When I go to Media Controller, within a milisecond, it displays the name of the track, without me touching any buttons. Also, what do you mean how late? You want a clock on the Media Controller? Why? I put the shortcut for Swipe Down...

I bought two for $320 off Kijiji, and then sold one for $180, making my Gear only $140. Decent deal. You can probably get it off Kijiji or CL for $180.

I have an S3 with TW 4.3 but I don't see an option for Smart Relay. Is that only for S4 and Note3?
