Does anyone elses Chromecast wreak havoc on their network? My other devices slow down, and my router seems to occasionally go in and out. What might solve this? It's not a speed issue, as this doesn't happen when streaming on the computer or wii.

I used an app that I had in Dropbox from my Android phone days. Volume+ I'll post a link Saturday sometime.

It wasn't staying powered on because of the faulty power button (the reason we RMA'd it in the first place). Got it to stay on and it actually flashed back to stock without that posted error for once. It actually had about a 90% charge, so I knew that wasn't the issue.

Here's the error I get when I try to flash the stock system image. The other two items flashed fine.

Last ditch effort? Still having the issue and need to get it in the mail on Monday.

I'm still having issues locating my backup. I made one and its stored SOMEWHERE as evidenced by my total available storage decreasing. However it's not available in the TWRP folder or in the restore menu. Suggestions?

That did fix it (as I assumed it would). Didn't really wanna do that since I figured my wife would kill me for wiping everything. Need to get TiBu going on this thing.

I've done it all on an 8.3.1, and I used the KF First Aide method. Once you get ADB going, that program works perfectly. It's a bit time consuming to get setup, but you'll be glad for it later.

Just saw this. I didn't check the version on mine until now. It's on 8.3, and has been rooted since I brought it home on Wednesday. I did it Wednesday night and if it updates overnight it kept root. If not, it was on 8.3 the whole time.

Thanks for the info. I doubt my wife would require many apps that are unavailable on Amazon anyways (if any).

Thanks for the quick reply. If I remember correctly, you could disable updates on previous Android devices, is this not the case with the KFHD? The software wouldn't be the newest, but data wouldn't be wiped, either.
