If you want to use this development, you can just flash the ROM, optional for magisk and GAPP. OSS vendor is already included, no need to flash separately.

I believe you have got something misunderstood. If you want to use OSS vendor with MIUI firmware, they do not match up. Anyway, please share your result if you make it =)

My conclusion is NO as this development uses OSS vendor instead, as it must cause issues, even goes into boot loop and data lost, as the encryption may change as well. Just in case you still want a try, you can then flash the ROM again to resume, but you may lost data in between of...

For what I know, the latest development are using OSS vendor. From other development, some suggested to keep using "stable" vendor version and NOT to update to latest one, otherwise unexpected issues/behaviour may result. By the way, you may try, and resume by flashing the rom again to resume.
