Post Question Are you satisfied with your FYT headunit? Buying advice needed!

Yea. I'm on my 2nd joying for my 2010 Rav4. I highly recommend getting one with buttons/knobs. Its very annoying to change volume by screen touching (even if you have steering controls). It seems the devices go thru these rounds of improvement that go like Version 1 : great new screen, no...

Post Question Are you satisfied with your FYT headunit? Buying advice needed!

Sorry for going slightly off thread topic... Did you try a reset? and then a firmware reload/update? I had your first problem until I wiped the system and flashed the latest firmware (which was the same) The apps freezing might indicate a temperature issue. See if it runs warm/hot? I never...

Post Question The accessibility setting (navigation bar) resets every time the unit wakes up

I would start by creating a tasker task that makes the appr. system changes. Then put a tasker widget/button on your home screen for that task. From there you can work on automating it via any of the many options you might have available thru tasker (screen/wifi/bt on/off etc)

    Post TS10 ADB offline

This worked on my two joyings and one mtcd unit: If you can get to the settings > developer options, under where it says "Developer Options" sometimes on the right side is the three dots button. Tap that > Usb Connection > then change to the one not selected (these options might be in chinese)

Post Question The accessibility setting (navigation bar) resets every time the unit wakes up

What application is this? What accessibility option are you using? Perhaps there is a way to use Tasker to enable this option on starts

    Post Screen problem with MT8227L

Thats crazy. My original unit year ago was like this, edge swiping from the top was a roll of the dice if it worked. Does it function with a touchscreen pointer? When you play a full screen video, and touch the screen there, does it repsond? If your touchscreen is defective and they wont...

    Post New Snapdragon Joying Headunit

I hope they put out some units with buttons/knobs. I had an airmont until recently that was like that and was very inconvenient.

Post Question Alternative EQ application for joying UIS7862, 6GB+128GB,10.1" 1920x1200

This happened on my 10 inch joying (airmont sc9853i). I hated it so much. Here's what I did. Should work for you. Enable ADB by.... (or using Termux app) - going to settings > system > developer options > 3368 > confirm - at the top of the screen on right, tap three dots overflow menu icon >...

Post General HowTo: Root Joying SC9853i Head Unit

I powered up my old intel headunit since the new UIS7682 is now installed and decided to see if I could root it. It took a couple of attempts but what finally worked was: - creating an android virtual device on an intel machine using the x86_64 android image on API 27 (android 8.1) -...

Post General HowTo: Root Joying SC9853i Head Unit

Like a champ. Is the most fluid device I've seen. I never noticed any issues on the airmont either. Again, I dont care for voice command anything. Working in hacking the radio app to a decent color/skin. More on this soon. I wish I knew where you got stuck, like error message or something. I...

Ahh yes. Good thing I have the later UIS7682 model. Either way, I never did voice command anything on my old airmont. I'm more button oriented (tasker).

Its not that hard. See this for how to do it on Android 12 + OTAs!!!!! :) , https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/read-this-before-updating.4356219/ Essentially, 1 - install magisk onto some android device 2 - get the firmware from whoever you bought it from, flash your device and make sure it...
