The bootloader has nothing to do with the bootanimation. If you see the bootanimation, the bootloader has done it's work ages before.

same here, had the exactly same issue with my pixel 4 xl. I'm using a Fritz!Box 7590 without WIFI 6. WPA2 / no random macs / band 5 for 2.4Ghz / 5Ghz disabled Still the same issue. Pretty annoying.

dont reflash the boot image. I had the same problem, just lock and re-unlock the bootloader and the phone will boot like it is supposed to :)

I have the problem that if I use my phone in my car (tesla model 3) over bluetooth and someone calls me, he can't hear me. I have to switch to the phone's speaker to make the microphone work. Idk if the bluetooth mic isn't working on other cars / speakers. Maybe someone can test it?
