Knocking on wood, but the random freezes seem to be fixed in the latest build, or at least I didn't experience any more after updating. Now this rom is really perfect as far as I can tell, great job!

It didn't in older versions, but it happened twice since the last release. Screen frozen, couldn't do anything except reboot by holding the power button. Both times happened while watching videos/gifs. Hope it gets fixed.

Nice ROM, using it as daily driver at the moment. It doesn't have many (any?) advanced options compared to a basic AOSP, but it is stable, good battery life, and doesn't have some common bugs that affect many other roms (example: the low volume bug in whatsapp/telegram voice messages).

Well, I fixed it... the instructions in the OP are wrong! You have to "format data" AFTER flashing the rom. If you do it before, it fails to boot.

Well, I spoke too soon it seems, phone froze during the night, actually made me late for work since the alarm didn't go off. I'll have to try another rom unfortunately, using the phone as my alarm clock with this bug is too risky.

I've been on 28/09 version since it was released and I never had this issue, so it is definitely something that doesn't affect all devices.

This is the first ROM I've found for this device where WiFi doesn't randomly disconnect for a few seconds every few minutes... and in general WiFi signal seems stronger and more stable than in other roms. Great job!

Are you using official twrp? There are several unofficial ones floating around that can give you this problem on 11.x, but I never had it with the official one (and I didn't flash vbmeta)

The fact that twrp is lost when flashing official rom (even thought twrp itself) is normal. You just have to reboot into bootloader and flash twrp again and it will be back. Your problem here is that you are using an old and unofficial twrp build, that has problems on newer roms. Flash...
