    Post Pace music player order

I may be a bit late, but I think there's a solution to this. At least, it works for me. Just copy the songs one by one in the desired order, and they will be played like that from the watch app.

Post [FIX]:Avoid Android OS Battery Drain Using GB !!

There is no proof that Fugumod is responsible for the lack of drain, that's for sure. I experienced the big once for no obvious reason so I flashed the be kernel purely out of curiosity. The bug may have nothing to do with it but I don't have the time nor interest to test every possible...

Post [FIX]:Avoid Android OS Battery Drain Using GB !!

C'mon, you know what I was trying to say ;) It was stock to begin with and then modified with Fugumod, better? :D Whatever it is, the phone is sleeping like it should.

Post [FIX]:Avoid Android OS Battery Drain Using GB !!

There shouldn't be a problem, really. You flash a normal Fugumod first, then convert to jfs or ext4, then flash the be ultra version and you're done. Disable lagfixes if you have them before flashing anything.

Post [FIX]:Avoid Android OS Battery Drain Using GB !!

I'm not getting the bug, using maps and auto rotate or whatever else I do. Granted, I don't play Gameloft games, but I've tried Angry Birds and no drain is happening. Stock JVH, Fugumod 4 BE Ultra, JFS, no external sd card. Hope this helps...

    Post [ROM] Redux v1.2 [Smooth|Clean|Stable|Open-sourced] (21st April)

But of course, however I set it up it just won't work. When I touch it, it changes to 3G and the indicator underneath becomes slightly greenish, but nothing happens. After that, it just stays that way, no matter how many times you try to touch the button...

    Post [ROM] Redux v1.2 [Smooth|Clean|Stable|Open-sourced] (21st April)

Fast, smooth, stable, no reboots (not that I had any with other ROMs, but still...) or major issues whatsoever. I've found just one thing: 2g/3g button on the Power Widget doesn't really work. But it's not a big deal anyway :)

You'd be amazed at what a little practice can do for your single handed pinch to zoom operation :D and by the way, you can always define how much you want the double tap to zoom in in settings (far, medium, close). But yes, an option to disable/enable zoom controls is just fine, I wasn't...

    Post [ROM-AOSP GRH78C] Oxygen v2.0-RC7 (Gingerbread, clean, fast and 100% open-sourced!!)

Definitely. It just gets in the way and is completely unnecessary when you have double tap and pinch to zoom. That and getting rid of status bar while browsing would make everything perfect.

Post Max FPS (720p) on official froyo OTA????

QuickTime player has movie inspector that shows fps as the video is played, at least that's how I do it.

Post Max FPS (720p) on official froyo OTA????

Videos on youtube are recompressed and while one of them shows 30 fps, I can assure you it is not really so. 30 fps is much smoother than that, but it doesn't matter really, the videos are very good anyway. I'd be more than happy with constant 25 fps.
  18. Z

Post Max FPS (720p) on official froyo OTA????

Autofocus is irrelevant because camera doesn't focus during recording, but ISO and no audio are essential. I'm unsure wheater the ISO is really fixed when you set it to 800 or just a maximum allowed value. By the ammount of noise in the videos it would appear that camera jumps back to 400 if it...

Post Max FPS (720p) on official froyo OTA????

Very good frame rate, did you record it without sound? This is what 720p recording should look like all the time :) I'm using htc based rom also, no a2sd, partitions, etc. Another one, indoors, 25-26 fps. Sure, noise from high ISO is killing the quality, but it's not bad either ;)
  20. Z

Post Max FPS (720p) on official froyo OTA????

I'll definitely try with a faster card, but I think bitrate is low enough for any card. My slow card has write times at around 4MB/s and this video requires just 1MB per second and that shouldn't be an issue.

Post Max FPS (720p) on official froyo OTA????

Ok, I'm uploading a couple of files to sendspace to demonstrate what I've found so far ;) No Youtube to avoid recompression and fps problems. I'm using a class 2 4gb card that came with the device, Pinky 1.8 classic, stock Froyo 2.2 basically. Video 1 - no audio, as smooth as possible, camera...

Post Max FPS (720p) on official froyo OTA????

There's only one thing left you can do to get rid of the constant and annoying stuttering - record without audio. It's not really a solution, but it can improve video a lot. As someone has already noticed, Camera app does a bad job at finding adequate exposure/ISO values. I'm sure it is capable...

    Post [ROM] CyanogenMod-6.1.1 for Desire (GSM/CDMA): V6.1.1 (16/12/2010)

There is a problem with the camera when focus is set to Auto and you try tap on the shutter button before it's finished taking the picture. It crashes every time this way. So, either wait for the camera to show the live picture again before taking another shot or use Touch focus instead.

    Post [ROM-FROYO 2.2.1 FRG83] OpenDesire v4.0.36 (CFS/BFQ/SVS-OCUV) (FM RADIO/OTA)(14/10)

Ok, I've noticed two things, pretty much like everyone else. 1. OD updater FC's sometimes if auto sync is turned off 2. Camera crashes every time when focus is set to Auto and you tap the screen (again) before it's finished taking the picture. It stays broken until you reboot. Everything else...

Post Official FroYo Update Thread + FAQ | OTA IS OUT NOW!

It actually speeds up for a split second when he shoots the white wall, hence the camera doesn't have to reduce the shutter speed. In bright light it might actually be decent, but I'm worried more about the stutter every couple of frames. Wonder what class sd card was used to record this video...

Post Crap stills after 720p update?

People need to understand that Desire's camera does not autofocus all the time. It does so only once when you start recording so you can't just walk around expecting everything to be in focus. Meaning, you can't focus on a building 50 meters away and then try to shoot a flower right in front of...

Post [DEV] Overclocking the GPU !!

It has to be. I have maybe 300 messages and my guess is that it lags just the same. It doesn't matter if a conversation thread has only two or three messages, it scrolls just as bad as the ones with much more. It has to do something with those custom rounded lists/boxes. Same goes for Peep...

Post [DEV] Overclocking the GPU !!

So true, and the worst app is Messaging. Scrolling through a message thread is painfully choppy. Wherever you can see those rounded text boxes it gets like that. Bad programming at its finest.

Post SetCPU - A few questions

True, decent on standby, draining like hell when used. And there is really not much you can do about it, turn off everything you're not using, maybe flash an UV-OC ROM and underclock. Perhaps you can save same battery at the expense of performace but I doubt it would be much.

Post Terrible frame rate in video recording... disappointing

I'd be very happy with 24 (film) or 25 (PAL) constant frames per second. The hardware is obviously more than capable of producing such frame rates, even at 720p, and we are all hoping to get it in future updates. The best option would be to leave a choice wheather a user wants constant fps or...

Post Terrible frame rate in video recording... disappointing

Framerate reduces in low light situations to reduce noise in the video. Some phones maintain fixed framerate but there's more noise when light levels drop. Also, those phones usually have some kind of "night mode" for such situations. HTC obviously opted for automatic mode where fps vary but...
