Nightly 26 is fine, you probably were on nightly 24 before, which has the broken recovery. Just go into download mode, flash philz kernel and reflash nightly 26.

I have a problem with the recent apps menu since installing the "settings with addons removed" mod. When long pressing the home button, the phone will freeze for a couple of seconds and systemui will crash.

I have basically the same problem, but with the german keyboard. It looks like a QWERTZ layout, but behaves like a QWERTY.

Samsung claims, that recent stock recoveries are safe, no one knows for sure if that's true. If you want to be absolutely safe, use a recent custom kernel, those are known to be safe, since they completely disable the broken erase function.

I just tried the latest CM 10.1 nightly, still the same problem as described earlier here in the thread. OLV tries to connect and fails after a few seconds.

Somehow I can't seem to shake the deep sleep problem. Whenever I reboot the kindle, it won't go into deep sleep until I plug the charger in once. After that, everything is fine until the next reboot. I installed BBS because cpu spy showed deep sleep as an unused state.

I had deep sleep issues with the latest build as well, BetterBatteryStats showed a vbus_twl6030_usb wakelock. Plugging a charging cable in for a couple of seconds got rid of it.

Looks like Cyanogenmod 10.1 reintroduces the problem, that had been described for stock 4.2 before. Tried it on both my original galaxy s and galaxy note, both can pair the liveview but when trying to connect with openliveview, it looks like its working for a second and then the icon disappears...

Superuser in the latest build doesn't work properly. Extracting the superuser.apk from a previous build and copying it to system/app restores it.

Strange. Not sure what could be wrong on my end, since system time on my phone and the liveview other than notificaions is correct. Any ideas? EDIT: SMS also show the correct time, only system notifications are off.

I noticed, that while the time and date on the watch screen are correct, the notifications are way off. They display something like 01.01.70 and a time, that advances between notifications, but is wrong as well.

I came from b2 and only wiped cache/dalvik cache.

bluetooth shows a runtime of over 49 days for me, so it seems to be a display error and not the actual power consumption.

Yeah, that kernel is a lot smoother than the standard CM9 kernel, the annoying micro stutter I get for example when opening the notification drawer is gone. Looks like it's not really ready for daily use yet, though: autorotation doesn't work, button backlight won't turn off, also mount points...

That was a bug present in CM9 when v05 came out. It has since been fixed, so the next time Imilka releases an update, the bug will be solved in PA as well.

Yes, you're right. If framework-res DPI is set to 320 everything looks fine. If I lower the DPI, the preview image gets cut off at the bottom.

Changing the DPI of some random apps has nothing to do with the notifications. I think the problem is, that since this build is based on the galaxy s 2, the height of the notifications is specified for a stock DPI of 240 and that's why it's too small for our stock DPI of 320. Gesendet von...
