I'm really liking the update. Nothing hugely improved from what I've noticed yet but the battery life seems slightly better and menus a bit smoother. I like the white theme as well. But sure how the white theme will look on my XZ phone as the whites get washed out a bit even on a slight angle...

Sorry but comparing the camera on the XZ is poor when compared to other high end handsets so it has a poor camera for a smartphone. Especially in lowish light. It doesn't bother me as well as like you I much prefer my SLR Sent from my Xperia Tablet Z

I use Handcent SMS which the black theme. It is a free app and I think it looks better than the stock Sony one because the main colour is black. The stock one isn't the best for when it is sitting on my desk at work due to the washed out whites.

A question for those that have this cradle. Is there any difference in charge time using the dock compared to the cable?

Yep, sounds like you might have a faulty unit. I don't get a drop in connectivity no matter what way I hold it. I often sit on the couch with it leaning against me and have no issues.

That is a bit harsh. Yes it doesn't benchmark as well and will age a bit quicker than the HTC One and S4 but real world performance they are all very similar. All three phones are currently way over powered for what 99% of people need.

Interesting. Let me get this straight - this is for the XZ phone right? Could be handy considering I have the XZ Tablet arriving tomorrow. Would make sense having the same UI on both.

If it is something you plan on dropping then I probably wouldn't recommend this. Maybe the Samsung S4 Active? Still is water and dust proof but the plastics on the Galaxy phones don't break. Screen will still be an issue.

You didn't read the third post in the thread did you? I think you will need to revert back to your previous ROM and try again to get recovery. Read the second and third posts.

Thanks for the awesome ROM Zero. This is the first ROM i've put on my Xperia Z and it is all running very nicely since I put it on yesterday. I'm looking forward to testing the audio out on some decent headphones tonight.

Just checking, by back up current ROM that means a Nandroid back up using CW recovery right? Also I saw earlier in the thread Taylor Swift said CM is way better than AOSP. Why is this? All I want is a super quick and stable ROM.

I’m a bit confused at the moment. Is there a way to check if your bootloader is unlocked? I went to the service menu and it says: Bootloader Allowed: Yes That only implies it is able to be unlocked. All I have done to it is updated to the official 4.2.2 using the flash tool and also rooted it...

Open up gmail and press the settings button on the top right. Then click "settings" then choose your gmail account. You can change it in there.
