It doesn't work for me. But if I turn off all the position (GPS) in Setting, then it seem helped with battery drain. I don't know why?!?!

Use towelroot from Geohot (Just like Narry84 said). it works for 4.3. (I can confirmed, it works for me) and then install SuperSU from PayStore that's it

I had same Problem as you (Power Button) it doesnt work anymore and I call HTC Germany ... and they said "my warranty covered the problem". It is like production failure and I get new Mainboard with better Power Button ... I dont have paid at all. (that was about 5 Moth ago)
