Since I updated, I find the phone more stable (No soft resets since install) I've got much better battery life, & better signal in most areas. I can't honestly say anything negative about this new firmware! :D

I upgraded over a week ago. I'm very happy with it. No bugs apparent, and much better battery life.

See my post on this thread from last night. Very stable, battery life SEEMS a lot better, but I haven't quantified that. From personal knowledge, I don't know about CHT, but I've read another thread saying it was OK. HTH.

I tried Sprite for several months, tried restoring backups, there was always some problem or other, the most common being that after a restore the phone would randomly not switch on, requiribg a soft reset. I've now tried SPB, and so far, it seems perfect. Also easier to use. My 2p's worth.

I have a Hitachi "Living Systems" Hi-Fi, and it has bluetoth built in. I CAN stream music from my HD2 anywhere within the bluetooth range. Quality is excellent to my non-HiFi ears. :D

I flashed the same rom when it was released, and TBH, I've had none of the problems you mention. It seems possible that you didn't get a clean install of the new rom, and IMO, it's worth trying to flash it again - in fact, I'd also re-download the rom from HTC. HTH

I tried Sprite, then bought the retail version. It does exactly what it says on the tin. What it CAN'T do is a restore if a new rom is put on the HD2 - just won't work! Having said that, I like it, and perform a backup frequently.

Just tried again after a few days of no service. Update to 1.600 downloaded. MyPlayer is now working, but the recently added page has some title errors. HTH

I connected my HD2 as a drive, copied the entire 16GB card to a folder on my PC, formatted the new card, copied everything back, absolutely perfect.

IMEI 17 digits? I just tried to fill in the unlock form for O2, and it says the IMEI from my phone is the wrong number of digits. Any ideas? Thanks.

I updated to the new O2 rom, then reinstalled all the software/tweaks I like. I've found it to be at least as good, and IMO, better since I did the update. I used the my phone app to replace my contacts, etc. Took me less than one day to get the phone just as I wanted it. My advice would be...

This folder is created when you first set up activesync. If you place any documents, etc, into this folder on the pc, when you perform a sync, they will be transferred to your HTC. HTH

Well, I suggest you start with a blank 16GB card, and copy everything from the 2GB card to the 16GB card, and see how you go.

Yes, I've done it. If you have already run the install for copilot, there is a folder on the card : - Copilot\SAVE on the original card which needs to be updated on your new card. Once I'd done that, it ran fine. Any problems, PM me. HTH

I just got the car mount today. It Does recharge the phone - there's a mini usb plug built into the bracket, and a lead plugs into the base of the bracket, and then into your 12v socket. A nice touch, the lead is actually long enough to be able to route it nicely. :)
