Yep, pain in the ass as it may be. I'd update the post to specify this still requires that. Having root listed as a feature makes it seem like this is a rooting method, even if it isn't. Maybe specify this requires the user to already be rooted, as you're listing root as a feature.

How exactly does one use FlashFire without root? Otherwise I hope you have a magical bootloader somewhere and this isn't just a tease.
