Would just be nice with a base where if there are bugs, they are general, and not split down the middle. I for example have no issues at all with 3.0. I probably have the sharpness setting not sticking bug, but my eyes wouldn't be able to tell :P

Isn't anything above and including 2.0 based on another "regional update" though? Just thinking that it might as well contain bugs for some, just like the 3.0 release apparently does.

Is anything really fixed in these regional updates, like 1.22, compared to a worldwide version, like 1.05? If not, why not "just" make a new ROM with the various tweaks and fixes by you and others instead, since it seems to be causing quite a bit of trouble for some?

If you installed Lyapota's Edited Tweaks, you should have an option in Settings called "ER3BUS Tweaks", from where you can add and remove quite a few options from the Quick Settings...

Yup, you can do that - I've used it for a good handful of ROM's myself too :)

My ringtone is an .mp3 stored on the sdcard. Just tested, and it's still the one I selected, and I rebooted the phone earlier today.

Sounds odd, mine's still set to what I set it to originally, and I've done quite a few reboots since I set it... My eyes are not good enough to test the camera settings issue though, I think.

Agreed. Btw., sorry if it's a dumb question, but what's "SIM Toolkit" and is there any reason to keep it? When I try to launch it, I just get a message saying that "SIM Toolkit is not ready or not supported" (roughly translated).

Sorry for interfering in a thread of a ROM I'm not using (at least not yet), but you're not supposed to restore system settings and data, it's pretty much asking for trouble :)

Depending on what mods you've downloaded, most of them are usually just flashable .zips, just like the ROM itself. So you simply install them by rebooting to recovery and flashing the .zip files you've downloaded and then rebooting afterwards.

You can't do backup/restore with the stock SMS app in ARHD, so backing them up that way won't do you any good though. Doesn't Titanium have an SMS backup feature? If not, MyBackup Pro does (paid app, but I don't know if MyBackup Root has that feature). Just so you don't waste time backing up...

You could try without a full wipe, but seeing as they're based on different base versions, it could cause some trouble.

Funny these mentions of "lagfest" on LordMod kernel - been running it since yesterday and can't say I've noticed any difference in performance for the worse. Don't know if I fint it better than klquicksall's kernel either though. Just interesting how different kernels apparently perform... Both...

Ah, well maybe that's why I don't have any issues, I'm not using the OC daemon, as I'm on Smartass V2 which already has the sleep-profile built-in. So yeah, no issues here :)

Alright, just flashed LordMod's kernel, and the pop is gone, or at least quite a bit lower now. The speaker still seems to stay on for a second or so, which means that the low hiss is still present. If it's too off-topic, just tell me to shut the hell up, but which of the many govenors do you...

Put your ear next to the speaker, play a system sound, and listen if you get a short, low hiss and then the low pop. If not, you don't have the issue, if you do, join the club ;)

Can't say, as I haven't tried LordMod kernel on this ROM, at least not yet. Maybe I should though, to see if the drain while using the phone is a bit less than with the default kernel, which seems to be draining rather much when phone is in use. No issues while in standby though :)

It would seem so yeah, but of course you'd lose all your data that way, but if you're switching ROM's, I guess that doesn't matter ;)

If you've got 4EXT recovery installed, you should be able to switch between ext3 and ext4 (and vice versa) in recovery. It should even be possible without full-wiping etc., but I've never tried it myself though. Edit: Sorry for the bump, but in case anybody missed my issues with Gallery, here's...
