First couple of days I was getting about 5hrs 30 mins sot but since then it has dropped to 4hrs at best. Can't work out why. Phone reports no unusual battery drain.

I have ordered the S7+ in bronze. Due for delivery today ? Really looking forward to it. Hope the increase in size isn't overbearing but it's smaller (just) than my surface pro so it should be ok.

I wouldn't advise it. Leather will not go well with long immersion in water. It will be ok for a splash or two but not for swimming. Plenty of alternative silicon straps on Amazon & eBay (and quick to switch which is what I do when I go for a swim)

Simple answer, you can't. As there is no app available it is only possible once you have received a message which you can then reply to. Frustrating I know.

Go for it... You won't be disappointed. Also, hard to describe why but Tizen 4.0 is a better experience, smoother and more polished but the differences are subtle.

I have just been swimming. Very impressed with the tracking. It got my lengths spot on and even detected what swim stroke I did on each length. The info recored which displays on the samsung health app is very detailed.

It means you can answer and talk to a call while your phone is in your pocket(or within Bluetooth range) . It has a mic and speaker and works really well.

I'm afraid it is just the same as the s3?

I have not had chance to swim yet. Probably will do one day next week. I am not aware of any other swim apps and will just try the Samsung health app. I will report back.

I received my Galaxy Watch yesterday and am really pleased with it. As expected it is similar to the S3 but to me it is soooo much nicer, very classy. Feel free to ask any questions about it.

Now the watch has been released surely there should be a dedicated page for this on XDA? Have I missed it somehow? Is interest in this watch so small? Can't wait for the release in the UK.

For some reason the timer was not on the S3 either but it is an available app to download.

I accept the upgrade is not massive but I was always torn between the S3 Classic or Frontier and I believe that this is a perfect blend of the two. So essentially it it just aesthetics for me. I got the Frontier second hand for £180 and Samsung are giving me £100 trade in so I think overall it...

I have been having this issue since I went on the beta Oreo on my S8. I thought it was an issue with that and I am hoping once the official Oreo comes my notification vibrations will return. After reading this I am now not so sure.

I had same problem. I returned it and got a refund, now purchased a new one which works fine. Definitely a fault that will continue to annoy so best to get a replacement.

I had this problem both on the S7 edge and my previous Note 5. I just unpaired and repaired (three times with the edge) and finally the volume went back to the previous volume of my previous devices - weird, can't explain why but once the level settles it stays the same every time I connect...

Old phone now returned and new one purchased. Home button on new one is working fine I'm pleased to say.

As I say - that is not an option for Samsung! Quite annoying that the Shop just refused to show any interest and say if bought on line I must deal with the problem on line.

It's not due to the SD card because mine did the same without a SD card inserted. I fixed by wiping the cache (but I had to do that twice)

Samsung (online) won't replace my phone, they will only give me a refund. What a poor service. Now I have to go and buy another (and the refund may take over a week to get back to my account) Not a good experience from my 1st purchase from Samsung online.

Is anyone being a problem with the home button? Mine has to be pressed dead central for it to register. I can fully press it at the extreme right or left and nothing happens. Have I got a faulty unit?

I have had this a couple of times, only notice when the phone gets hot in my pocket. I always have tap to wake turned off because it always wakes my phone when it is in my pocket. I'd love to know if there is a solution to this problem.

Sorry i thought you meant screen outwards. Just putting upside down does not work. Since update to "h" it has been ok in trouser pockets made of cotton but not if nylon. Wierd.

But that will leave the screen exposed- not very safe.
