So, i tested a lot of roms but in the end I reverted back to stock miui, debloated (mainly because custom roms are widevine L3). But now it seems that xiaomi.eu is L1 as well. Give custom roms a try, you can always go back to locked bootloader with miflash anyway.

So, I didn't record all the measures, but I tried the mod posted here. MIUI 10.3.6, stock kernel When I started, the battery temperature was 32°C. As you can see, the battery temperature was 50°C(!) when the test finished. So, as I said, this will greatly decrease the lifespan of your battery.

Not to be disrespectful, but this is so f dumb. Sure, I don't doubt the processor is capable of operating at 60°C, but the point of not allowing it to do so is that it'd greatly decrease the battery lifespan.

Of course you are trading life span of your device to have performance. But mine doesn't get that hot, so I'll keep it. I play onmyoji arena at the lowest settings and still have frame drops (without temod), unacceptable.
