when you flashed cm12 recovery is gone. there's no recovery in cm12

first you need to compile/build a AOSP ROM & after that you need to flash. or you can try AOSP Android 5.x.x Note this builds are not fully working

ryanxt3 1st you need to flash/upgrade to latest build Once you flash latest/upgrade root will be lost. You have to downgrade kernel only to build 14 (only this version is rootable) then root it & flash latest build kernel only Just use flash tool to download frimware & convert to ftf

If you have rooted t3 you can't download & install ota updates. use PC Companion or get ftf & flash with flashtool.

you can't edit any files inside apk by using 7zip. to edit you have decompile the apk's. use Advance apk tool which is made for xperia. Search on xda u will find it

decompile setting.apk that's it u can edit once decompiled

yes but I think you have to edit framework.jar I read this some where here on xda

I think you have flashed the boot.img from that rom.its hard brick.so you have very less chances on getting it back.you can try the recovery steps posted.
