I'm not talking about font or icon size, I was referring to the blank space between elements, no matter how big or small I make the font size, the interface looks cluttered when compared to other file manager apps.

I agree! I've been trying a lot of file managers lately and a bit more space between elements makes a lot of difference in favor of clarity and readability. I would love to see a custom space feature, even if it's limited to a few values (small, medium, large?).

Every review I watched before getting my 5T said that the reading mode turns the display black and white (or gray scale), but in my phone it has a very warm white balance, even more than the night mode. How it's supposed to work? Is my phone working fine?

I can confirm this, I'm trying to restore from "Backup & restore" (a backup app from Sony) and Helium, both with the same result. I've contacted EA support, if I get a solution I'll post it here.

That is not entirely true, for example: there are no roms for America in samfirmware and in fact there are a lot of branded roms and even a generic, all of them official 2.3.3 or 2.3.4 for America.

I don't know if it works on the Ace, but there's an app called Screen Filter, that turns down the brightness of the screen and also has an option to turn off soft keys. It's useful for night reading.
